Bubble Bath, Big Apple Red and Lincoln Park After Dark lead as bestsellers.
April 27, 2026
By: Melissa Meisel
For 45 years, OPI hasn’t just created colors; it has created icons, the Happi International Top 30 brand contends.
This year, OPI is celebrating its 45th Anniversary with its brand new campaign: “It’s more than color. It’s OPI.”
While the “OPIcons” collection has introduced fan-favorites like I’m a Bubble Bunny, the company is showcasing its bestsellers that have helped shape the brand to where it is today.
Check out the below stats on how Bubble Bath, Big Apple Red & Lincoln Park After Dark have continued to “dominate the nail industry and maintained iconic status,” according to the brand.
In Los Angeles, OPI celebrated its 45th anniversary with an immersive, large-scale experience that brought the brand’s legacy to life through its most iconic shades. On March 19, nail pros, influencers and media were invited into a fully experiential environment centered around three of OPI’s best-selling colors—Lincoln Park After Dark, Big Apple Red and Bubble Bath—each of which has become synonymous with self-expression and personal style.
Anchored in OPI’s “More Than Color” campaign, the event tapped into the “emotional connection” consumers have with these shades. Each shade came to life through its own dedicated, highly designed environment with interactive elements and brand partnerships:
The experience began with a nod to OPI’s unexpected origins, an intimate “Dentist Speakeasy” check-in that referenced the brand’s start in the early 1980s, when it pivoted from dental acrylics to revolutionize professional nail care.
To round out the experience, a nail art station offered guests custom applications featuring the three hero shades with Swarovski crystal accents.
